當(dāng)中國已成榜樣
——寫在率團(tuán)赴歐洲五國考察之前

中國，顧名思義，即為“中央之國”，我們的祖先何其大氣和深謀遠(yuǎn)慮，早就把“中央之國”這個(gè)名字給占了。
作為后輩子孫，總想從一個(gè)國家的名字去審視自我血統(tǒng)的純正和民族的偉大性，我認(rèn)為自己的祖國是最為了不起的。
一百年之前或是二百年之前，中國無論歷經(jīng)了多少個(gè)朝代多少位皇帝，無論是在天文、歷史、文化、科技或軍事等等方面都曾是領(lǐng)世界之先的，更別說那些火藥、絲綢、茶葉、瓷器，就連我們的《孫子兵法》、《易經(jīng)》等等都是歐美國家喜愛和崇拜得不得了的。
中國歷經(jīng)了多少次的戰(zhàn)爭和星月轉(zhuǎn)換，歷經(jīng)了多少次的屈辱和光輝照耀，終于走到了今天。回想一下，一百多年前，“八國聯(lián)軍”攻入國門和后來日本十幾年的侵略，“中國”差一點(diǎn)就在這個(gè)世界上消失了，如果是被他國侵吞了，國名就要被改寫，那些創(chuàng)造出的無數(shù)文明和技術(shù)成果就會(huì)被竊取，那些無數(shù)的閃耀如星辰的珍寶將會(huì)遺失或散落在世界各地。
當(dāng)文化和人種被拆散與撕裂后，一個(gè)偉大國家和光榮民族就不復(fù)存在了。我們祖國和民族一直在世界的中心警醒著、抗衡著、死拼著。
面對(duì)魅力無盡的唐詩宋詞和更為古老的甲骨漢簡，我們很容易明白世界的整個(gè)東南亞地區(qū)或者更為廣闊的范圍里都沐浴著“中國文明”幾千年的雨露霞光，比如說，馬來西亞、日本、韓國等等在百年千年之前，他們的許多子民就是我們兄弟姐妹。
中國，何其偉大呢？我們無須再翻讀疆土面積和人口數(shù)字。幾百年前，或是更早的千年之前，中國的經(jīng)濟(jì)總量曾占世界的三分之一或是二分之一，也就是說，“世界”這個(gè)大家庭的財(cái)富有那么多是中國所創(chuàng)造的，所以，歷史上的中國總是引來諸國進(jìn)貢，萬邦朝覲。當(dāng)您站在大地的中央，全天下的人都向您敬禮，并崇拜您，您身心是何等的氣宇軒昂和血脈通暢！
我們祖國有萬里長城，有萬里長江，有世界最高的喜馬拉雅山，有無數(shù)的金銀財(cái)寶，有美麗的高原和迷人神奇的海疆……經(jīng)歷了一百年前的百年戰(zhàn)火和“辛亥革命”之后，中華民族開始覺醒了，崛起了！
我們?cè)?jīng)丟失了眾多土地和無數(shù)金銀財(cái)寶，失去了千千萬萬鮮活的人的生命，我們的國家和民族今天的幸福生活是來之不易的！我們知道了國家難在哪里，痛在哪里——
因?yàn)橥闯蜑?zāi)難，我們無時(shí)不刻地想奮進(jìn)和突圍，我們的祖國曾派出過許多優(yōu)秀兒女去歐美國家學(xué)習(xí)他們的先進(jìn)文化和工業(yè)革命后良好的科技成果。這些優(yōu)秀兒女在出國學(xué)習(xí)的同時(shí)，也在歐美這片土地上創(chuàng)造了無數(shù)文明和財(cái)富，并讓世界各國人民分享到了中國人的聰明智慧和諸多方面的進(jìn)步成果。
經(jīng)過近代百年的思想進(jìn)步與精神變革；經(jīng)過當(dāng)代幾十年的整治和洗禮，中國更加偉岸和富有營養(yǎng)了，以前那種強(qiáng)烈的“崇洋媚外”的情緒越來越平復(fù)和淡薄了。“崇洋媚外”是一種病態(tài)，是因?yàn)橘趸虿蛔孕牛磺衼G卻自我尊嚴(yán)和堅(jiān)骨去迎合他人，專為他人“站臺(tái)”、“跟班”的行為都是病態(tài)使然。總而言之，一段時(shí)間以來“中央”那個(gè)位置是你這個(gè)“東亞病夫”之國不能站立的。
如今，中國強(qiáng)盛了。從數(shù)字上看，中國的經(jīng)濟(jì)總量居世界第二位；從形象上看，在國際盛典和世界最為重要外交活動(dòng)中，中國領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人都基本上是站在前排，而且基本上都是站立在中央位置。
國際外交和全球“站臺(tái)”都是極其認(rèn)真和十分微妙的，如果我們國家領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人被安排在聯(lián)合國大會(huì)的最后一排的最角落的位置，你會(huì)怎么想呢？
未來，中國將會(huì)越來越強(qiáng)大，但中國是否在世界上成為一個(gè)“好榜樣”？能否在國際重大事務(wù)上有更多作為和貢獻(xiàn)呢？答案當(dāng)然是肯定的，比如說，今天在中國北京召開的“世界旅游發(fā)展大會(huì)”就是中國政府創(chuàng)立和主辦的。
我們優(yōu)秀兒女中的80、90后們，你們看懂和讀透了中國幾千年歷史滄桑和文明印記后就不難明白，中國是完全能在全世界上做好“榜樣”的！因?yàn)椋@個(gè)“中央之國”在世界上當(dāng)“老大”曾經(jīng)有很多年了，比英國、美國時(shí)間早，也時(shí)間長。
在這個(gè)世界上，許多國家都想“當(dāng)老大”，做“榜樣”的。中國不能一味狂熱地去“當(dāng)老大”，“做榜樣”，要越來越理性或者更加科學(xué)地運(yùn)作好國家財(cái)富和影響力資源，真正成為能牽引帶動(dòng)世界眾多國家向更為健康與和平社會(huì)環(huán)境生存與發(fā)展的大國。
在去歐洲五國考察旅游和酒店業(yè)之前，有不少感慨，就想寫些文字留下。我們的“第九屆世界酒店論壇歐洲峰會(huì)”系列活動(dòng)即將于6月12-23日在比利時(shí)等五國舉辦。這次“峰會(huì)”是由中國人牽頭并領(lǐng)導(dǎo)主辦的，并得到了中國政府和比利時(shí)國家政府的高度重視，屆時(shí)將會(huì)有20多個(gè)國家共150多名政要、企業(yè)家、行業(yè)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、媒體精英出席此次“峰會(huì)”。這是一次中國人在國際社會(huì)發(fā)聲和展示形象的良好機(jī)會(huì)。在“歐洲中心”比利時(shí)和歐洲最為發(fā)達(dá)的幾個(gè)國家，我們中國人要和其它國家的友人們一道做好“世界酒店論壇”和“世界酒店聯(lián)盟”這一國際級(jí)行業(yè)的平臺(tái)，并讓全球旅游和酒店業(yè)的同仁們能在這個(gè)大平臺(tái)上分享到更多成果和財(cái)富。
世界酒店論壇和世界酒店聯(lián)盟是中國人主導(dǎo)創(chuàng)辦的，中國人理應(yīng)站在世界的中央位置去努力著，宣講著，推動(dòng)著世界酒店行業(yè)健康快速發(fā)展。

When China has become a model
—Written before leading our group to visit five European countries
China, thinking from its name, that’s the country in the center. Our ancestors are so generous and thoughtful that we occupy the position of country in the center long ago.
As a descendant, I always want to see our pure descent and the greatness of our nation by our country’s name. I think my country is the greatest one.
One hundred years ago or two hundred years ago, whether China experienced how many dynasties or emperors, whether in astronomy, history, culture, science or military and so on are all on the leading edge, leaving alone those gunpowder, silk, tea and china. Even our Sun Zi`s Art of War, Yi Jing are all liked and adored extremely by western countries.
How many times did China experience wars, humiliation and light? With time passing by, China finally comes to today. Thinking back, one hundred years ago, eight-nation alliance broke into our country and Japan invaded us for more than ten years. “China ” was almost going to disappear in this world. If China was embezzled by other countries, our country’s name would be changed and those countless civilizations and technological achievements created would be stolen and those countless treasures flashing like stars would be scattered around the world.
When culture and races are departed and teared, a great country and glorious nation would never appear. Our country and nation are always alert and fighting.
Facing Tang poem and Song ci with endless fascination and more ancient oracle and Han bamboo slips, we can easily understand that the whole Southeast Asia region or more wider region is enjoying thousands of years of rain, dew and rays of Chinese civilization, for example, generations of Malaysia, Japan, Korea and so on were our brothers and sisters hundreds of thousands of years ago.
China, what a great country! There is no need for us to count previous territory or population. Chinese economic aggregate occupies one third or half of the world hundreds of years ago or earlier thousands of years ago, that is, anyhow, there were so many treasures of the “world” belonged to China. Therefore, there were many countries paying tribute to China in history. When you stand on the center of the ground, all people around the world salute and adore you, how passionate and exciting you are!
Our motherland has the Great Wall, Yangtze river, the highest mountain - Himalayas in the world and beautiful and fertile highland and sea frontier......After one hundred years’ war and severe difficulties one hundred years ago, China woke up and is rising.
We once lost a large amount of land and numerous treasures, lost billions of fresh lives. We know hardship is there, grief is there. Today’s happiness and peace of our citizens shall be cherished compared with the hardship before.
Because of grief and disaster, our country once sent many outstanding generations to western countries to learn their advanced culture and good technological results of the industrial revolution. While our outstanding generations are learning abroad, they also created civilization and treasures on western land, sharing Chinese’s intelligence and achievements in many fields with people from all over the world. We are always thinking and marching into a new land.
Through recent years’ mind and spirit revolution and countless wars’ baptism, also decades of renovation and “revolution” in modern times, China is stronger and rich in nutrition. Previous strong kind of xenophilia sentiment turns into more and more calm and indifferent. Xenophilia is the result of self inability or non-confidence. Putting away self-respect and self-esteem to cater others, to service others. In a word, weak people can’t stand in the center.
Nowadays, China is rich and strong. Looking from data, Chinese economic amount ranks second in the world. Looking from image, Chinese leaders stand in the front row and center place on the whole in international ceremony and the most important summits in the world, etc.
International diplomacy and “standing place” are extremely serious and subtle. If our country leaders are arranged to stand on the corner of the last row in the General Assembly of the United Nations, what would you think?
Would China be a good example if China becomes strong nowadays or in the future? Can China make more contribution in the international important affairs? The answer is Yes for sure. For example, the "World Conference on Tourism for Development" held today in Beijing, China is founded and hosted by China government.
Our outstanding generations - post-80s and post-90s generations, you can easily understand that China can be a good example if you understand and read through Chinese history and civilization, because this “center country” has been the “big brother” for many years, earlier and longer than British and America.
Many countries in the world want to be “big brother” and “model”. We can’t hold great zeal for “big brother” or “model”. We should operate national treasures and powerful resources more and more reasonably or more scientifically, to lead worldwide countries to survive and develop in more healthy and peaceful social environment.
Before the trip to five European countries, I have some thought in my mind. So I wrote them down. Our “the 9th World Hotel Forum European Summit” will be held in Brussels, Belgium during June 12th and 23rd. This “summit” is hosted by the Chinese and got high attention from Chinese government and Belgium government. At that time, more than 150 politicians, enterprises, industry leaders and media elites from more than 20 countries will attend this summit. This is a good opportunity for Chinese to voice in the international society and show image. Our Chinese and other countries’ friends will make a good “World Hotel Forum” and “World Hotel Association” platform in European center Belgium and the most developed countries in Europe, and let global tourism and hotel industry colleagues share achievements and treasures in this platform.
World Hotel Forum and World Hotel Association are founded and run by the Chinese. Chinese people shall make efforts, make statements and make promotions in the center of the world to boost the healthy and fast development of world hotel industry.
